DEREK DUFRESNE FROM NEW ORLEANS IS THE BASSIST OF PRINCESS ROSE’S SONG: MISS LIBERTY

Posted By: Princess Rose On:

🇫🇷❤️🇺🇸 The story goes on for Rose, The Princess of The Environment and the making of the song « Miss Liberty », as part of the album « Moonlight Serenade », the musical tale for the earth….

Symbiosis for the piano and drums of Miss Liberty…
Considering the amazing drums part that Jake Naugle composed for « Miss Liberty » and before continuing the making with the other instruments, Princess Rose worked again on her piano part, so both drums and piano are in great symbiosis. Princess Rose’s piano is now crystal clear and adjusted to Jake Naugle’s performance on drums. It’s now time to welcome the bassist of Princess Rose’s song for the earth, « Miss Liberty » 🌹🌎❤️

« Miss Liberty » will have the sound of Louisana with Derek Dufresne, the fantastic bassist from New Orleans
In the tale for the earth (chapter 13), Princess Rose and the Blue Prince go to New Orleans to meet the musicians who do music to calm the tears of the rainforest (the forest cries for the death of her children, the trees) and they bring support and love after the massive flooding of the city of New Orleans. Indeed, Princess Rose plays for them on her piano an empowering music called « Girly Blues », to recall the spirits of the Great Sidney Bechet and Louis Armstrong. So, for the making of « Miss Liberty », it was just so natural for Princess Rose to be accompagnied by a musician from New Orleans. Indeed, with a little kind of magic, Rose, The Princess of The Environment, found the best romantic rock bassist of New Orleans for her song « Miss Liberty »: Derek Dufresne…
Derek is a great rock’n’roll man, a pro musician graduated from Berklee College of Music with a BA in sound engineering with 20 years as a multi-instrumentalist, sound engineering, mixing, edition and production. Derek helps many artists and bands to design and produce their music. He is also a session musician and a touring artist with many great experiences and more than 40 concerts in the U.S in 2018. Derek plays with his own band, Saint Roch, specialized in punk, rock and blues music. He was featured many times in the media, among those: « Eat this: rock and metal » and also in the magazine « bassplayer ». Derek is also a multi-instrumentalist for « Kill Star Records », influenced by big rock bands from the 70ies, 80ies and 90ies, like Pearl Jam, Motorhead, Alice in Chains, Kiss…
Derek Dufresne, the rock’n’roll man from New Orleans, accepted straight away to be part of Princess Rose’s song, « Miss Liberty ». Derek even proposed two bass lines: one was strict, the other one had more fantasy. Princess Rose loves fantasy as she is a « girl in pink » so she chose the fantasy bass line, which is swingy and goes well with the other instruments. Below is a photo of the fantastic Derek when playing his rock music in New Orleans.
