A millennium history… the 19 Stars Princes
The Principality of the 19 Stars comes from a long royal tradition which has been represented by the Royal Blue and Gold Blazon for more than a millennium, and even in the ancient times.

Through the centuries, the Royal Blue and Gold Blazon was proudly honoured by the 19 Stars Princes, from fathers to sons or daughters, until Prince Jean, who reigned from the beginning of the 20th century until the year 1992.

In the castle of the Principality of the 19 Stars stands a representation of the Royal Blue and Gold blazon (see below). This blazon was passed from generations to generations, from fathers to sons or daughters.

When Prince Jean died in 1992, the Principality of the 19 Stars was represented by his daughter Princess Jacqueline who kept the role and shared the traditions and values with the younger generations, her daughter: Princess Catherine, her grand daughter, Princess Rose and her great-grandson, The Little Prince Luka.

In November 2017, Princess Jacqueline asked her daughter Princess Catherine and her grand-daughter Princess Rose, to come and meet her in the French Kings Royal Residence, « Le Château de Versailles » in France, in order to share an astonishing family secret.

Princess Jacqueline’s father, Prince Jean, had planned the destiny of the Principality of the 19 Stars at the beggining of the 20th century, when he was only 15 years old, entrusting the future of its land to the Monaco explorer Prince, Albert the 1st. In 1976, Prince Jean took another decision for the Principality of the 19 Stars. When her great-granddaughter Princess Rose was born, he asked his own daughter, Princess Jacqueline to educate Princess Rose from her early age to the values of love and commitments to the Principality of the 19 Stars, Monaco and the earth, so that one day, she could become « The Princess of The Environment » and play her role on the earth, in the name of the Princely Family of the Principality of the 19 Stars.

However, the responsibilities carried by the Principality of the 19 Stars were far beyond the Royal Blue and Gold Blazon. Princess Jacqueline, entrusted Princess Rose another amazing family secret. The 19 Stars Princes and Princesses have always been the official representatives of the Blazon of the Earth, under the name of the Family of The Environment, whose role is to raise awareness about the preservation of the values of humankind and environment on the earth.

In 2017, at the age of 94 years old, Princess Jacqueline wished to prepare the future of the Principality of the 19 Stars. She shared the whole story of the Royal Blue and Gold Blazon and the Blazon of the Earth with Princess Rose, explaining her that she would soon become the new representative to the eyes of the world.

In her last year of life, Princess Jacqueline asked Princess Rose to prepare herself to her new official role, preserving the values of :
– the Royal Blue and Gold Blazon
– the Blazon of the Earth
– the values of the historical collaboration of the Principality of the 19 Stars with Monaco, following the impulsion for the earth given by the Monaco Princes, in order to ensure a continuity of destinies and bring force to a common commitment to humankind well-being and environmental preservation.

In her investigations with her grand-mother, Princess Rose also discovered that, in its time, her great grand-father, Prince Jean, who officially represented the Principality of the 19 Stars, had followed the impulsion of Prince Albert the 1st of Monaco to explore the world. As a young boy, Prince Jean had made the choice to entrust the future of the Principality of the 19 Stars to the Monaco Princes, while keeping its full autonomy on research, environment, art, education and music. Princess Rose confirmed the close relationships between Monaco and the Principality of the 19 Stars in 2018.

On November 6th 2018, when her grand-mother, Princess Jacqueline died, Princess Rose was officially named Princess of the Principality of the 19 Stars by the Council of the 19 Stars, with the following titles:
– Rose, The Royal Blue and Gold Princess
– Rose, The Princess of the Earth
– Rose, The Princess of The Environment
Those titles give a full sovereign authority to Princess Rose and the Principality of the 19 Stars to raise people’s awareness about environment on the earth in any country of the world.
